Elwood Cromwell is an American composer, sound designer, producer, recording artist, and creative entrepreneur whose work spans music, film, television, and original intellectual property development. As the founder of DAC Harmony Grove and DAC Pictures LTD, Cromwell has built a diverse creative portfolio that bridges audio production, visual storytelling, and artist development.

With a career rooted in both independent artistry and multimedia production, Cromwell has worked across numerous disciplines including music composition, sound design, dialogue editing, ADR, audio restoration, sound mixing, and creative direction. His work reflects a commitment to cinematic storytelling, immersive sound, and the creation of original entertainment properties.

Early Career

Cromwell's journey in entertainment began in the mid-1990s, when he became involved with promotional street teams for major record labels, including Qwest/Warner, Interscope Records and Death Row Records. During this period, he gained valuable insight into artist marketing, music promotion, and the evolving landscape of the music industry.

In 1996, he earned second-place recognition in an ASCAP/BMI showcase, further establishing his reputation as an emerging songwriter and performer. A year later, he founded the hip-hop collective Third Eye Convention, which became an important creative outlet and performance vehicle throughout Southern California.

Over the years, Cromwell and his collaborators performed at numerous iconic venues, including Whisky a Go Go, The Roxy Theatre, House of Blues Sunset Strip (Defunct), and the Los Angeles Memorial Sports Arena.

Throughout his career, Cromwell has recorded and performed under multiple artistic identities, each representing a different chapter of his creative evolution.

Moezart 3rd Eye

As Moezart 3rd Eye, Cromwell developed a reputation for blending introspective lyricism, social commentary, and cinematic production. After years of performing under the moniker, he released his first and only full-length album, Pax Quaeritur Bello, on June 29, 2018. The title, translated from Latin as "Peace Is Sought Through War," represented a culmination of years of artistic growth and personal experience.

In March 2019, Cromwell returned to the Moezart 3rd Eye persona with the release of The Rebirth, signaling a renewed creative direction while honoring the foundations that had defined his earlier work.

3rd Icon

Under the name 3rd Icon, Cromwell continued to expand his musical identity, exploring themes of legacy, transformation, and artistic independence through original recordings and collaborative projects.

SnagglePuss The Great

One of Cromwell's most ambitious creative ventures is SnagglePuss The Great, a multimedia entertainment property that combines music, storytelling, and cinematic world-building.

The project includes the album How the West Was Won and serves as the foundation for The Ballad of SnagglePuss, a western crime-drama series currently in development. Through this universe, Cromwell merges elements of western mythology, urban culture, crime drama, and music into a singular narrative experience.
