On what would have been Nipsey Hussle’s 41st birthday, we remember the life, music and vision of Ermias Asghedom. More than a rapper, Nipsey became a symbol of independence, ownership, community investment and perseverance. From Crenshaw to Victory Lap, his influence continues to reach far beyond hip-hop. The Marathon Continues. 🏁💙

Black Ice was a powerful voice in spoken word and performance poetry whose influence reached far beyond the stage. We honor his legacy, celebrate his contributions to hip-hop and poetry, and remember an artist whose words continue to inspire audiences around the world.
